Natasha's Air fryer French Beans

Ingredients

250 grams french beans, cleaned and snapped in half

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

3 cloves of garlic, minced

1.5 tsp veggie oil

Method

  • Start by breaking your beans in half and adding them to boiling water for 2 minutes.

  • Then transfer the beans into ice cold water. This is called blanching and it helps the french beans retain their beautiful green color and crisp texture.

  • Add 1 tsp of oil, garlic and onion powders and add the beans to an airfryer at max temp (usually 200 celsius) for 7 minutes

  • While the beans are cooking, add 1/2 tsp of oil in a pan on medium heat and cook off the garlic until they turn golden brown.

  • Back to the beans: take them out once you hear them sizzle and you see nice spots of charred beans

  • Sprinkle with salt and garlic and enjoy!
